Position Summary:
The role of the Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role involves managing accounting operations, financial planning, risk assessment, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Monitor financial performance and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support financial stability.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct financial modeling and data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Optimize ERP and financial reporting systems to improve efficiency.
- Supervise and develop finance team members to maintain high performance and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
- years of experience in financial management, controlling, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
The role operates in an office setting and may require occasional travel for audits, meetings, or regulatory compliance purposes. The Financial Controller will work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
